Though Blue Hill gasworks have long gone and Kelsick Grammar School stands empty, Roundhill Is still a working farm. Easy stony lanes, incredible trees, wonderful views to the south and west over Ambleside and the old Kelsick Grammar School and north to Kirkstone Pass, combine with a tour of Ambleside and a glimpse of a stone built farm, to make this one of the pleasantest and most enjoyable walks in the region.
