A CIRCUIT OF EASEDALE TARN

£3.50

In many respects this is the definitive ‘Grasmere’ walk, rising from the village to explore the secrets and immense beauty of high Easdale, it’s hidden tarn and tumbling waterfalls. Beyond the meadows and stone buildings of Easedale this route enters Far Easdale to cross the beck at Stythwaite Steps to make a rising traverse to the tarn. A rounding of the tarn is followed by descent alongside the waterfalls of Sourmilk Gill to pass Brimmer Head Farm and return to the Easedale Road.
