Nestling amidst an area of exquisite beauty, one known and celebrated worldwide for it’s association with William Wordsworth and the Lake Poets, this walk makes a reasonably gentle anticlockwise perambulation of Rydal Water. With a fine aspect over Rydal it first rises to Loughrigg Terrace before traversing to Rydal Caves. It then drops to Rydal village to rise once again to follow the Coffin Road. Finally it crosses White Moss Common Fell with a magnificent view to both Rydal Water and Grasmere lake.
