Topped by a stone tower Latterbarrow Fell stands with wonderful open aspect between the Vale of Hawkshead and Windermere Lake. This clockwise route climbs to the summit of the hill from Hawkshead before descending and traversing it’s southern shoulder to intercept an ancient bridleway which leads pleasantly down towards the hamlet of Colthouse.
