Utilising a network of quarry-men’s tracks this route starts from Chapel Stile to climb by Elterwater Quarry and through Baysbrown Wood crossing to ascend Lingmoor on its Little Langdale side. It then traverses the spine to gain Brown How – the summit of Lingmoor before returning to descend the Great Langdale slopes directly to Chapel Stile.
