This interesting scenic route makes a clockwise perambulation around the Little Langdale valley. Descending on the north side and rising on the south it is an outing suitable for all seasons and most conditions. From the centre of the village pass the Three Shires Inn, Wilson Place Farm and Low Hacket to cross the River Brathay by Colwith Bridge before rising by Colwith Force Waterfall, High Park and Stang End to re-cross the river by Lang Parrock Footbridge.
