A track leads beside Pinstones Point and Wood Close Point to High Wray Bay from where a path continues through the woods passed Epley Point and out to Watbarrow Point before climbing to Wray Castle and Church.

A track leads beside Pinstones Point and Wood Close Point to High Wray Bay from where a path continues through the woods passed Epley Point and out to Watbarrow Point before climbing to Wray Castle and Church.

 

LENGTH: 5.5 km.
TIME: 2 hours.
DIFFICULTY: Easy, on good tracks and paths with slight ascent to round Wray Castle.
START & FINISH: Red Nab car park (385 995).
MAPS: OS L90/96 or OL7.         
HOSTELRIES: Non enroute, plentiful in Hawkshead.
