SKIDDAW REFLECTED IN DERWENTWATER

SKIDDAW REFLECTED IN DERWENTWATER Well if you want to crunch numbers Skiddaw and it’s satellites are over the 3,000ft mark and therefore it is one of the top three massifs in the Lake District. But the breathtaking beauty of this scene, Skiddaw reflected in the mill pond still surface of Derwentwater, goes way beyond mathematical statistics. Though some, like Alan Turing and a few of my mathematically minded friends, would probably disagree. See my “Walk Borrowdale & Keswick” Walk 12 ‘The Round Of Derwentwater’.
