WHITE MOSS COMMON TO GRASMERE LAKE BY THE RIVER ROTHAY

£3.50

Short and simple, this is a walk of contrast and quality. It crosses the River Rothay by two wooden footbridges making an anticlockwise, although easily reversible, circuit through Baneriggs Wood to visit the foot of Grasmere Lake before returning along the river by Loughrigg Wood. In May the woods are carpeted with bluebells though this is very much a walk for all seasons and most weather conditions.
