TO BLIND TARN AND SILVER HOW

£3.50

Silver How is the dominant little fell standing to the west of Grasmere lake and is a favourite viewpoint. It offers a lovely aspect over the vales of both Grasmere and Rydal. This walk, approaching by Lower Easedale and the secretive Blind Tarn basin, now a moss, provides a fascinating contrast with the openness of the tops, before delightful descent leads through juniper and bracken directly back to Allan Bank and Grasmere.
