An easy exploration of the many delights of Windermere Lake making a level anticlockwise circuit around the Bow Ness peninsula and Cockshott Point below bustling Bowness Bay. This little bow shaped peninsula, or ness, protruding out into the lake towards Belle Isle, provides a lovely outing by meadow, oak woods and lakeside, before making return beside Glebe park to Bowness Bay.
